Book ahead early for June, July, August and September 2009! These dates are the most popular due to the weather, Museum openings, the CAT, etc

August 2009 will be busy on CSI as we have the ISLAND DAYS, HAWK DAYZ, the SENIORS PICNIC and the BARRINGTON EXHIBITION just to name a few.

Rumour has it there will be a new RESTAURANT opening soon in the Town!

Free boat trip to "SEAL ISLAND" from Clark's Harbour for the whole day. We'll pack your picnic lunches for a small charge. This Island trip is a rare opportunity & is always the high-light of anyone's Nova Scotia vacation.

A half or full day trip can be arranged to the CAPE where the Lighthouse is located. Watch the sheep grazing, swim, picnic all by yourselves!

Mary Morgan of San Francisco, CA., wife of the late Dr. Benjamin Spock, (author & pediatrician) was a very welcome and entertaining guest of Ocean Tide B & B in June, 2007. She was thrilled with her adventures in Nova Scotia.

The "CAT" from Maine, USA will begin its 2009 schedule in May. The ferry from St. John's, New Brunswick runs to and from Nova Scotia all year long. One does NOT need a Passport to sail (or drive) between the two countries in 2008; but via air, one does.

Save big $$$$ by informing the ship(s) that you are a Member of Triple AA or CAA; also when you book round trip. They offer Senior Discounts as well.

The Canadian "looney" ($1.00) finally caught up to the American dollar on Sept. 20th, 2007, surpassing it shortly thereafter. We gladly accept American money at the CURRENT exchange rate.

Ocean Tide recently welcomed the wife of the renowned actor Fred Crane who's first starring role was as Brent Tarleton in the classic movie "Gone With the Wind". She and a friend fell in love with this area and the people here.
